Hello, Steemians! It's been a month since I've heard about Steemit. All thanks to @wandergirl for introducing to me this awesome platform. I've learned more when I joined my first Steemit meetup here in Cebu. All my questions were answered and I got really interested in being part of this community and sharing my passion to everyone. I'm beyond grateful to @manualbot @itinerantph and @fernwehninja for being so generous in sharing their knowledge and experiences about the platform.
I'm Darryll, a Fine Arts graduate from Cebu City, Philippines. My passion for the arts lead me to where I am now. I consider myself a Visual Storyteller. I am both in love with Photography and Filmmaking. I have always been curious on how elements on a visual media affect one's perspective of a certain subject.
I started photography six years ago and i haven't looked back since. Like culture, photography is a way of life. Photography is not only about sharing what you have seen but also how you've seen it. Not only is it a passport to new places, but to new friends and learnings as well. All these have inspired me to pursue this craft. Filmmaking grew out of my passion for photography. I'm lucky enough to turn this passion into a profession. I'm currently working as Senior Video Editor and you know what they say, when you choose a job that you love, you'll never have to work a day in your life.

I abosultely agree with this sentence:
This is essence of photography - 100 people can shoot on the same event, but their photos will be absolutely different. (or at least should be ;))
