This is my third post on Steemit. I was excited to start creating so I posted before introducing myself. I am a teacher of Language Arts and Multimedia in Ohio. My passions include technology, teaching, video games and baseball. I just went to the Cleveland Indians game last night. They won! Go Tribe!.
I intend to post a lot about the things I'm passionate about. I have become fascinated by politics lately and I would love to share links and stories I find interesting in that topic, but I will probably keep my opinions to myself. I have found as a teacher it is best to always be bipartisan. There are enough people out there with opinions.
I love creating lessons for my students and I would love to write about those.

Now...I don't want to presume anything but are you a Buckeyes fan by any chance? I've been living in KC for a large majority of my life now, but was born in Columbus and carry that honor along with me.
Its awesome that you are teaching...at one point I thought I wanted to do so but figured out it wasn't quite for me.
Anyhow, I'm going to assume you're a Buckeye fan and just for that I'll give you a follow! I'm fairly new here, but I'll be posting about the crypto world (figures) but also about sports and personal finance topics.

IO! Nice. I'm looking forward to the season (gonna forget what happened at the end of last year). Urban's been doing an amazing job recruiting, so its awesome to know each year we'll be fighting for a spot in the playoffs it seems. I just hope JT finally wins a ring under center.
Kauffman stadium is definitely a good time. Not a big baseball guy myself but summer games at the K is where its at...

I'm all about the Cavs! They just didn't have the firepower last year, but the year before was the greatest moment in Cleveland sports history.
Recruiting is what makes Urban so great. It has to be tougher with Michigan actually competing now. I see no reason why the Buckeyes can't win a title this year.
Thats what I like to hear. Dude I literally cried tears of joy when Kyrie hit that three and pretty much solidified the championship. Incredible moment.
Anyway, we'll have to connect for sure during football season haha.

Hi Lance! I'd love to go to an American baseball game, I used to watch it on tv when I was a kid but I've never had the chance to go. Each time I've been in the States there haven't been any games so I had to watch basketball. It's good that you like to keep your political opinions to yourself, we recently had an election here and some people on my Facebook feed were constantly posting about it

Great post Lance! I'm into politics myself, I tend to be very opinionated and open to sharing haha, with good intent though. If we can't share ideas and beliefs then we can't progress and learn anything. I find that usually conversations that stay "neutral" tend not to get anywhere to be honest. Iron sharpens Iron. It was the passionate people of old who had beliefs and opinions, who shared those beliefs and opinions that made the most difference in the world. Usually making a difference gets you in trouble, and I'm completely fine with that.
Keep up the posts man, I hope we can talk some more!
Thanks for the reply. What you say about sharing ideas and beliefs make sense. Just as we need people to rock the boat I think we need people to keep the boat afloat. I do pick my battles and if I believe strongly about something I am not shy to voice my opinion. I feel like that helps me in life because when someone hears me voicing my opinion they know I'm passionate about it. Some people have an opinion on everything, even stuff they are not informed about. My biggest problem with politics is people who are on the side of one party and only write opinions that side with the party whether they actually believe in what they are saying or not. I love people who want to make a difference and that is why I decided to become a teacher. I look forward to future discussions!
