RE: Hello Steemians! My Name is Kili and I am a Fashion blogger/vlogger and I am new here!

Welcome to the Steemit community Kili!

I'm sure you will find a receptive audience for your passions on Steemit. There are heaps of creative people in all walks of life, even if Steemit at this point in time is dominated by talk of cryptocurrencies.

A couple of Steemit tips, ignore the automated bots, they do nothing for you and just earn from your votes.

We love original content!

Be patient with building an audience.

For many new people, the voting and points system seems complicated at first. Here is an excellent post and entertaining video about how it all works.

You also earn rewards for resharing (resteem) and commenting. How cool is that? So it pays for you to get involved with other people and their content.

Welcome aboard and full Steem ahead! =)

Leo.

Thank you, @leoplaw!

Wow! This is all great information for someone who is just starting out. I will check out the video straight away so that I understand the mechanics of Steemit a little better. Truly appreciate the guidance!

If you have any other pointers, never hesitate to share them on one of my posts. Thank you again! :)

There is a lot of hype and misunderstanding from newbies on Steemit who simply have not taken the time to learn how it all works. I'm still learning myself. Steemit does not operate like Facebook, Twitter or the others. So there is a bit to wrap your head around. But, this is what makes it more worthwhile than the aforementioned social networks.

Yeah, it's quite a bit to wrap one's head around, but as with anything, you just have to get learning and it will come naturally in the end.

Once again, thank you for all the information and it certainly comes in handy. :)
