I agree... why do it on facebook for free? Facebook collects loads of data on every person based on what they like, etc... and it all benefits them, not that everyday user. And lots of times, good content gets buried..... I am happy someone introduced Steemit to me. Before I knew about it, I was thinking wouldn't it be nice if there was something that rewarded those who posted good content?... and then I ran into a stranger at Starbucks who told me about it. Call it fate or whatever, glad I am on board now.
