Thanks will do so! I'm not sure how the bots are affecting the whole community and the overall experience, but can think they may have a negative effect, maybe sometimes even a positive one as well.
I haven't see any positive effects. They are being used by some to falsely upvote content, especially by a lot of the bigger accounts here; which, of course damages the experience here greatly as it allows for poor content to make some people a ton of money. What they make unfairly then makes it harder for newbies like us to get much of anything for our content, no matter its quality.
I agree, but an informative bot post for a new user can be positive as he/she might not have known about the information at first, but yes the long term effect of bots will most probably be the downfall of steemit one day.
I have ZERO doubt of it.
