RE: Hello steemit world!

Very nice to meet you and great job on your first post. I'm a bit south in Central Illinois (Lions fan, originally from MI).

Congrats on the fiance, my wife and I have two kids. It's never easy, but life is much better together.

I so badly want to be good at programming, but it makes my brain hurt. Instead, I write for small businesses and entrepreneurs. My background is in entrepreneurship, so I'm much more creative and business-minded than a traditional writer, but not as technically sound (and I'm okay with that :-)).

Welcome! Please let us know if you have any questions. There are tons of tools and layers to Steem/Steemit. It can be very confusing. Make sure to dive in a little to learn and ask lots of questions.

Thank you for the insight. I wish I was better with the entrepreneurship stuff; that would make starting/running my own software business and being a digital nomad so much easier. I'm willing to put in the work, though. As far as the Viking's fan comment, I probably should have added that I grew up in Wisconsin, so by default I'm a Packer's fan if/when I choose to actively watch football or partake in friendly banter with my Viking's fan friends.

Oh nice. In Michigan, half of the football fans are cheeseheads, so that makes sense.

What have you done for freelancing? That's a good way to start your business (what I did). Start freelancing for businesses and just keep expanding.
