Hi people! My name is Laura and I live in Brazil. I created my account and I'm still learning how everything works. I've never seem a social network like Steemit! Most people where Im from create accounts on Facebook and Instagram. Personaly have an account on Instagram but I'm not very active. For me it works like a tool to contact friends and to keep up with happens in their daily life.
Yesterday while talking to my husband about cryptocurrecies, blockchain, decentralization of the power and all this new world (for me it's new lol) fantastic was the light. He asked me: what if you were part of a social network just like you already participate but could earn some cash as you engage more with this new ecosystem. This is how I was introduced to Steem and Boom ... Here I am! I'm still not sure what my focus here will be on Steemit and what I'll be talking about but as I get to know more about Steem, more enthusiastic I get. Let me hear from you. What is your focus here? 🤗

Meu foco aqui é participar nesse novo movimento do Blockchain, agora de modo "social", pois já venho a um tempo aprendendo sobre as várias soluções que algumas abordagens (cada um com uma moeda diferente) pretendem oferecer a algum desafio. Steemit é o único que conheço que casa o social com o Blockchain como rede. A questão do sigilo está sendo bem trabalhado pela Monero, por exemplo. E há um, StorjCoinX, que está sendo comparado com Uber na área de armazenamento digital. Moro em Brasília com a minha familinha. E vocês?
