so i can dive in and join you minnows (did i spell that right?) and whales in this awesome community of the great blockchain ocean!
my name is misu, i live in bucharest, romania, its a beautiful spread of land if you haven't heard.
sort of an 80's kid, i grew up in the backdrop of comunist residential projects mixed with patches of "endangered" old houses, painting apartment building walls with raw leaves as pigment, sometimes with crushed brick, like urban cavekids. my cousin had mad skills inventing "mineral" paints while i was more "vegetal" oriented. walls and spaces were appealing and we had plenty of derelict sites to explore.
later i went to architecture school and after i kinda stopped drawing and doing other stuff generally, never too late to restart though!
i've never had a blog or anything of the sort and that's what i'm having a go at here.
i'm really excited about this community although i dont think i fully understand how it works, so i've been lurking around for like two weeks, upvoting and following without a proper introduction, how rude! just found out about introduceyourself and to make up for being late i wanna share with you guys my favorite mural. and my biggest. and in the best location, one of those abandoned jewls, an experimental windmill, just off the beach of the black sea, in the danube delta.
i worked on it for like 3 five hour sessions, found the place seeking shade one afternoon, it was both refuge and canvas. the medium is grill charcoal, i found a bag of it on the site next to the remains of a fire.
i'm really excited about sharing it with you guys! hope you like it (:

at the end of the day i looked more like a miner than anything but i really enjoyed it, hope you did too!
p.s. if anybody is really really curios, this is how the structure of the windmill looks. it was originally supposed to power up an experimental "science-village" where the legendery but old henri coanda was supposed to build the worlds first hyperloop transport system prototype. he died shortly, then the 80' came, then ceausescu was executed etc.
its right next to this gorgeous fishermen village called sfantu gheorge (saint george).
