Hi there,
my name is Maurizio, I am 43 years old, I come from the warm and beautiful city of Napoli, in Italy.
I am a visual effects/ video games 3d artist.
I have been blessed enough to work on major film productions, AAA video games titles and feature animation movies.
This has given me the chance to travel all around the world.
I have been living in England, New Zealand, Singapore and now I am based in the cold Montreal.
From all my travel experience I developed a passion for photography, which is one of my favorite hobbies after drawing.

So far my career has been very rewarding. I had the chance to work with the legends of the computer graphics and for the companies that were making the movies and the video games I loved when I was a kid.
(this is one of the characters I have done for Arkham Knight)
I had the chance to grow and learn a lot, I am a self-taught "artist", mostly because at the time I started there were no schools in Italy that were teaching what I wanted to learn. Thanks to the kindness and the encouragement of few artists I have been bothering over the internet sending email in a very broken English asking for suggestions, I managed to turn my passion into a job.
I am extremely grateful to those people, I consider them my mentors. Hopefully one day I will be able to balance the Karma, maybe with this blog?
Speaking of which, I still do not know what I am going to talk about here. It would be great to know if there is anybody interested in what I am able to offer leaving a comment below.
