If this is your definition of giving upvote then you are defeating the purpose of upholding quality posts. You are very good at playing safe for the "potential votes" with no guarantee even if they follow you. How sure are you that you will remember this person and come back to upvote her future post when you did not even follow her? I checked and she's not on your followed list.
