Alrighty fellow steemers let's have a proper introduction here on how I got to Steemit.
I won't be holding out from my end because my life is an open book, so it's only fair you guys to do the same if you have any questions.
So I'm 24 and from India (not with a funny accent), 5 ft 8 inches (i think).
I quit my job recently (Not a wise thing to do with all your relatives breathing down your neck to be teen who is respected by the "Society").
Bored and jobless I scrolled daily thro' my instagram feed looking at memes, stumbled on to crypotcurrency in one of those annoying ads/promotions, since I'd eavesdropped on some conversation earlier I decided to look it up, amazed and captivated by the brains behind it, I craved for more of Satoshi Nakamoto and one thing lead to another, crypto led me to blockchain (Reading it felt like having a braingasm) and i stayed up all night learning about the CryptoTech.
By now the idea of Cryptocurrency had me already clawed its claws deep into me and I kept enjoying trying to understand it. After a couple of videos on YouTube I stumbled on to the so-called next best thing D-Tube, since YouTube is already flooded with so much creativity I decided to give this new platform a try, which ultimately led me to (You guessed it right) STEEMIT!
Motivated by Casey Neistat (The best content creator and hardworker) and Gary Vaynerchuk(This guys makes me wanna get outta my bed and do something with life), I decided to do something with this jobless life of mine.
All my life I've been good at two things,
i. Doddling/sketching (Although the frequency of my doodling has drastically reduced)
P.S.
This is my first time putting down my thoughts.
Upvote if you genuinely think this was good.
And if this post reaches like ummm.... idk like 30 upvotes i will tell you the second thing I'm good at.

Welcome to Steemit!!!
I have seen much worse introductions, but your posts will get better and better.
I have a few tips for you......:
find a community. Maybe join the @minnowsupport project.
comment and follow other's articles for your first 1-4 months here more than you do your own posts. This will actually help you to gain Followers. And improve and refine your Posting style(by seeing other's good examples and bad examples).
don't plan to get rich. If you come for money, it will probably be a struggle.
it will still be a struggle when you are new.... for 2 or 3 months. As you meet more steemians and ask questions and figure things out, it will get easier.
only Post original work. Many new Steemians get into trouble when they copy and paste things from Google or from the internet, AND IT IS NOT their photo, writing or work. IF you can't post your own things, better not post. Otherwise @cheetah will get suspicious!
comment and make friends, but don't ask "Follow me" or "please Upvote me" Maybe after you have become friends... maybe. But never as your first, second or third comment to them. Never!
Use appropriate tags. If the tag doesn't match. Don't use it. Tags are important to help people find what they are looking for. Misusing tags causes many problems here on Steemit.
have fun!
I am a community volunteer. I try to stop SPAM and trash and things that hurt Steemit. IF you see anything like that, please feel free to let me know, I will look into it!
Duly noted Knight of Light!
