I'm a young Canadian fellow and that is a photo of me driving my car.
The photo was taken with a GoPro Hero3+
That was back in Canada a few years ago, but today I now live and work in Bali Indonesia.
I've been here for the past 9 months. A random job posting was what got it all started for me.
It was an opportunity to live and work in Bali.
It was a scary uncertain decision but I'm glad I did it.
I even remember there was a moment where I actually said no to the opportunity.
But I'm glad I didn't let the fear stop me from this decision.
If you have never travelled, I urge you to do so.
I left Canada at the age of 29 years old for the very first time with nothing but two suitcases and a backpack.
I had sold everything and had a one way ticket to Australia.
Ever since then back in 2016 I've been to Australia, Nepal, China, Singapore and now Bali.
I have currently been away from home for over a year and a half.
Who knows when I'll go back.
It is expensive that's for sure.
But I should, my parents would love to see me.
Who knows where from here. That's what I love about my life.
The freedom.
You don't have to be as drastic as me and sell everything you own, but just get out there and travel.
You'll thank me for it!

Welcome!!
Hi Nathan, Welcome to Steemit, and I'm sure you're going to really like it here.
Sixteen years ago, like you, I left home with a suitcase and headed to Thailand. Now, 16 years later, I'm still there and I've never looked back. Making that jump and travelling overseas to experience another way of life is something which is unbeatable. I still never know what the future might bring, so I only live one year at a time here, but once you get used to the Asian way of things, it's quite difficult settling back into life back home.
I look forward to your future posts.
