Admittedly, I'm not great with introductions nor writing– at least not writing articles or blogs. Music, art, poetry, code-ish, nuance loaded glances– these are my languages, and others. I wish I was a vlogger, I wish I was little bit taller Skee-Lo voice** this is incredibly...um, awkward. Where do I begin with all of this? This feels very eHarmony-esqe.

My name is Omi. Many moons ago, before the interwebs was a thing, I was a troubled teenager with a budding career as a RAPPER. Foregoeing (for now) the stories of my youth and self-imposed arrested development, and the disruption of the entire music industry– I'm now a relatively happy mom of three, secret writer of song, coder of webs, and helpless creative /slash/ tinkerer.

I invested in Bitcoin in late 2012. Yeah. I pulled out quite a bit later. Wink-wink. That being said, my experience with crypto is otherwise archaic. The internet changes so much faster than I keep up with it. In 2015 I had 11 or so alt-coins I was playing with but I didn't do anything with them. Most of them are now worth what they're made of. I signed up for Steemit a long time ago and never used it either. Beyond that, I'm pretty much lost here. Lol. I popped in to support my friends who signed up here and their ventures in crypto.

Rewinding, whilst I was pursuing becoming a failed rockstar for so many years, I also held a really cool position at Fidelity Investments. That was my 'real job' until I cashed out of Bitcoin. I day traded as well, and later got into Forex. Left that as well. I had my two youngest children (my oldest is an adult now) and that's all she wrote. Essentially, I have no life direction really. Luckily, my closest friends think I'm pretty swell. ;)

I realized, somewhere approaching middle age, maybe I should do something bigger with my life. I actually have a great life, but it's a far cry from being the rockstar I once envisioned. Having 2 kids on the Autism Spectrum is deeply exhausting, time consuming, and expensive. Parenthood has consumed me for the most part. While they're in school, I plug away at my newest pursuit [ecommerce] and try to figure out how the heck to find time to be an individual.

Blogging/vlogging is something I always wanted to learn to do. I've designed dozens of sites using Wordpress and yet never one for myself. I never bothered because my writing is, well, meh..more conversational than journalistic. I have a new goal to get back in shape– that's going well. I'm still unsure what I really have to offer as far as content anywhere online, but yet I'm online all day doing this or that to make it happen for my family. I still maintain my profiles elsewhere.
