My name is Soo and I'm a designer based in NYC. I recently quit my job because I had a profound wake up call and realized that where I was was not where I was supposed to be.
I'm in debt and I'm out of a job but I'm okay with it. I feel incredibly at peace and my perspective on myself and life has changed dramatically. Quitting the corporate cage and allowing myself to pursue my passion opened up aspects of myself I never knew.
I'm now on steemit because of some friends (@hansikhouse) who introduced me to the site but also because I realize what my life purpose is and what I am supposed to do. The friend who introduced me to steemit asked me, "They say there are two very important days in your life. Do you know what they are?" And then she followed up with, "It's the day you were born and the day you know WHY you were born." This resonated deeply with me because it spoke about my situation perfectly. I'm using this site to catalog my thoughts and progressions of a company I am starting called One Organics.
The philosophy of One is that every part of our bodies are connected. Our emotional states can manifest physically and what we do physically affect how we feel mentally. EVERYTHING. IS. CONNECTED.
Why do dentists look at teeth exclusively when our teeth are connected to different parts of our body? Why do dermatologists examine skin exclusively when our skin conditions will often times be a symptom of something larger? What happened to looking at the body as a whole?
The goal is to educate people on healing. Western medicine has benefits but it certainly has a lot of problems that exacerbate health issues instead of fixing it. Our government is complicit in keeping people in the dark and in poor health and this is not a conspiracy theory.
The goal is to heal.
