Pura Vida is a state of mind and a way of life. I find it interesting that most people who "move here forever," either leave before year 5 is up, or stay forever. That's what happened to me. I moved to Talamanca, Costa Rica on New Years day 1993 and I never went back.
It sounds glamorous, but it requires being fully present and making your choices in the Now. This goes against the traditional cultural grain that is at the heart of most western world people. Yet it is the way of nature.
