A NEW STEEMIAN ON STEEMIT, BE GOOD TO ME STEEMIT

My name is Ikpotokin Osalumhense Peace , I am a Civil & Environmental Engineering Graduate of Federal University of Technology, Akure. One of my most cherished moments while an undergraduate, is when my lecturers take attendance, they will barely pronounce my name well which always called for laughter.

As a matter of fact I have so many names from them all.😂🤣

I have always been a STEM enthusiast and this led me to buiding a career in the Engineering profession.

I am a God lover, sucker of excellence, writer and someone who loves education, music, baking, reading, travelling and cooking.

My favourite colour is milk and brown, I love english wears....

MY STEEMIT JOURNEY
It was Demember 26th while still in the yelutide of the season, my bro @gptins came with the good news of steemit, so filled with optimism. I thought it wise to accept it....and never knew it was such a great opportunity.🤓

After expressing my interest, he taught me all I would need to start and how to blog.

Having stayed less than a month on steemit, I have enjoyed steemit to bits, by networking on channels, participating in openmic contest sometimes. You could see that it has been an amazing journey

My first one week on steemit was so unproductive, and I had to earnings, all were $0.00. Thank God for the courage to stay. Steemit changed the game...

WHAT STEEMIT HAS DONE FOR ME

Although I was discourged by the end of the first week, but I kept moving on, by participating in other activities in the community.

Steemit has helped me because：

My vocabulary improved
My writing skill enhanced
It taught me consistency and hardwork
It made me know that everyone is a product of their own value system and that is what attracts money.

WHAT I INTEND TO CONTRIBUTE TO STEEMIT

Promote Steemit
My first goal is to promote steemit, to this effect, I created a watsapp group with 53 participants being introduced by me with the name "Steemit International".

Quite a number of them are Nigerian citizens based in the U.S, China, New Zealand and
Canada.

I also succeeded in inviting my friends of the National Youth Service Corps too, and we all are doing it together.

I also intend organising meetups and becoming an exchanger someday....

Solve Problem
I am naturally wired to help people by providing solutions to real problems. So I always make myself available to answer questions frequently and educate my team as much possible, tell youths and the unempmoyed.

Invest
I hope to invest more time, money and value in the community as things gets better and life improves.
