My name is Mario and I'm a rock artist known as Purple Hearts.
I recently heard of Steemit from a friend and current user and figured I would try it out.
I'm 27 years old(28 on the 28th of this month) and live in Missouri. I've been an entrepreneur since 2012, mainly doing work in the cell phone industry. I used to book tours and promote shows in a small town called Poplar Bluff in southeast MO before I became a full time entrepreneur.
I started Purple Hearts in late 2015.
I've been a musician for 10 years, I've played in several local bands but this is my first real shot at making it in the music industry. I have grown my Instagram(purpleheartsofficial) to 27,000 followers, and my twitter(purpleheartsoff) to over 10,000 followers. I've released about 6 music videos, 1 EP, and released several singles. My brand new EP titled "Late Night Thoughts" comes out August 28th, and I will be releasing more music videos for the songs on the EP leading up to the release. I'm heading out on tour this fall, and hope to be out a lot in 2018.
I'm going to be posting tour/travel experiences on here, as well as a lot of personal stories; the time my business partner and I went on tour and got stopped by border patrol in Texas because we had about 20 rolled blunts on us; the time I got chased through the woods by the police the first time I tripped on LSD; the time a guy broke in to the apartment I was living in and robbed us of $35,000 cash and left myself and a friend of mine tied up in the bathtub; what it's like to go on tour for 30 days on a big heavy metal rock bands tour bus and a lot more random experiences I've had over the course of my almost 28 years of life.
