Great post Jim! It seems you have put Bessy out to pasture! What a labor of love to get her up and running/configured/and then finally an early retirement!
I feel you pain but really the thrill is in the hunt. You made valuable contributions with your computing power and really got involved in the system. I always admired miners and really I wish I had done it myself had I not been tied down by corporate projects.
In the old days guys had hobbies like going to the garage and tinkering with building a wooden cabinet, playing with their toy trains etc. In the modern age they build things like Bessy and it's fantastic.
