Who am I?

Hello Everyone,

Well, it is day 1 for me on steemit. I have lots still to learn but thought I would start by introducing myself.

My name is Rebecca and I live in the North East of the UK. I am excited for 2018 and have lots of ideas for how I want to evolve my experience and achieve some exciting goals.

2017 has been an amazing year for me, I became a Mam for the first time and had my gorgeous daughter Jessica in May therefore I am looking to balance my work / time balance and have set myself the goal to work much much more from home and to build up residual income.

There are a few things I am passionate about which will be the basis of this and the focus of my steemit channel:

  1. Needlecraft - I have now been doing a variety of needlecrafts for around 30 years. 2018 is the year I plan to step into design particularly around embroidery. I want to inspire others to learn how to sew, crochet or do other crafts so the majority of videos (when I work out how to load them up) will be to support everyone to learn new tchniques, do product review etc

  2. Equality - my professional background is HR and Employment Law. I am a trainer focused on developing the skills of managers to get the best out of their people through engagement and leadership. I am a speaker on this topic and will continue to share my insight through video and live training. In 2013 I was diagnosed with MS which changed my perspective on this topic and I now work with leading MS charities and those with MS to help shape inclusion in the workplace for those with MS and similar conditions. I am a columnist for New Pathways, a national MS magazine and 2018 I plan to put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) and write a book on this topic. I will also post videos on this topic here.

Looking forward to sharing, discussing and contributing to this amazing community

Rebecca
