Greetings good people,
I'm Adnan from Malaysia and I have been introduced to Steemit a couple of weeks ago. Let me tell you a little bit about myself:
- I was born in Dublin, Ireland when my parents were studying in University College Dublin.
- I love to travel and up to this point, I have venture myself, travelling alone to a few countries across Southeast Asia and soon I'm planning to go to Europe.
- I'm currently a medical student at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, aiming to be an orthopaedic surgeon, someday.
- I love to blog but it has been 1 year or so since the time where I have decided to quit blogging due to personal issues.
- I'm an avid gamer, with a keen interest towards first-person shooter games.
- I'm a positive person. No matter what kind of troubles, problems or challenges which are being inflicted on my life, no matter how difficult they are, my mind actively searching for the good side of things, pushing the bad one away.
- I have been clinically diagnosed with Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD) and Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) back in 2012 when I was 21 years old and since then, I have been obsessing with the medical field. This is the reason why I quitted law school and opted for medical school.
Well, life really presents itself with a certain challenge. When we have solved one, the other one would arise. I need a space to lose myself into and I've seen some of my friends overcame their depression by simply writing a blog. They don't even blog about their feelings. They write about something that they were passionate about. It is a reminder of something that we haven't lose but will disappear if we do not appreciate them. Have you ever felt that way? Being interested in something but suddenly, you woke up the next day and all of that passions, just gone. I have and luckily blogging is not one of them. Not just yet.
My article would comprise of:
- Biology
- Medical stuff
- Astronomy
- Travel
- Sometimes, just a rant about random topics
I would make it as interesting as possible and let's hope I would be able to be consistent with what I want to do so that I would achieve whatever I wanted to achieve.
