Cool. Thanks.

Not to spam you, but it's definitely "Wanderlust" from German "wandern" -- to wander, to hike.

Wonderlust sounds funny too though, the correlating German word would be "wundern" -- to wonder, to be astonished. "Wonderlust" doesn't exist you would have to paraphrase that in German too.

Glad to be learning a bit of German from you. Languages and dialects fascinate me so thanks for enlightening me. And that mention of wanderlust.. wonderlust was my attempt at a humorous play on words :P

Yes, I considered that possibility too! It's a funny text.

I plan on doing some German tutorials here, so I just took the chance to get started right away...

Ah I see. That's fantastic. Followed you!

Where should I start? Vocab, syntax, grammar...?

I'd start with common words/phrases used in everyday speech and go on from there!

Yes, I thought something along those lines as well... I'll start with the very basics and see what questions come up then and where to go next...

First I'll have to go back to formating my thesis though... My publisher was on vacation until this morning thus giving me kind of an excuse to procrastinate a little...
