RE: Hello Steem Community :)

Welcome to Steemit @brianalex I have been a newbie for a couple of weeks and still have to do my introduceyourself post. I am actually getting the photos I want to use and how I want to write it up.

Aside from the blood, how long did it take to make your 3d printer and was it quite a bit cheaper than just buying a ready made model?

If you ever get your blender 3d model animated you will have to share that.

The build took me and my friend almost a full day. There were some problems along thw way, like the frame was not really cutted out so we had to do it by hand. But it is definitely cheaper. My Anet A8 Printer is based of the Prusa i3 blueprints and if you buy one of those prebuilt you most likely pay around double the price, although i can imagine that the price has fallen a bit.

@brianalex I checked out the gearbest site as well as a review by a 3d novice that put his together. Someday I hope to squeeze that project into the way to many things that I would like to do.

Yes this definitely one of those weekend projects where you need both time and patience.
But i am sure you'll get there someday and please let me know then :)
