Hello Ladies and Gentlemen (and especially Ladies),

If you are not familiar with /r/shittypoetry, it is a wonderful community on Reddit where you can throw away your inhibitions and write poetry from your heart. . . or, if you wish, stomach.

In /r/poetry, folks strain and strain to write great poems, but end up pooping out great crap. In /r/shittypoetry, we set out to write shitty poems, but end up producing great satire. . . with a streak of brown, you know, for flair.

Writing shittypoems is an arduous and under-appreciated vocation, and it is my mission to honor the heroes of /r/shittypoetry by starting a SteemIt shittypoetry tag so they may be compensated for their important work.
