Welcome @lucylight. Read your interview with @stillgideon who is such a treasure. I had to come check your post since I think he's cool and also since my childhood nickname was Lucy, and my youngest daughter's middle name is Lucille. We call her Lulu, and she's amazing.
I love the earnestness and authenticity of your post. For what it's worth, I think there is lots more to be said, painted, danced, and sung. I believe it does matter, and I believe it is changing. It is slow, but people are awakening more and more. My oldest daughter who is 16 is also a painter. @sophieharling is where you will find her, and my oldest son is a poet and musician. You can find him @anarchyandbread. I think Steemit is awesome, and I hope you'll enjoy it here. I have found an incredibly loving and supportive community here. In just a few months, I have found people that I treasure as true friends, and I am not one who attaches to people super easily. Anyway. Sort of a long welcome. This is a great place for bubbling and flowing <3
What a wonderful welcome! Thank you. Makes it feel warm here. I will l check out you and your kids.
Glad that brought some warmth. I hope you enjoy what you find. I think reading and seeing the beauty the young ones are bringing forth always helps me have more hope for the future. Of course I think my kids are great examples, but there are bunches more. I really would love to see more teens and twenty somethings on here.
