Hello Steemit world! My real life name is Anna and after much nagging... errr... encouraging by my husband (@buzzard) I am finally making my introduction post, only 6 months after joining Steemit.
I am a stay-at-home/work-from-home mom of two pretty awesome kiddos and spend much of my time homeschooling them and trying to guide them into becoming compassionate, productive members of this world we call home. In my spare time (what there is of it), I create hand lettered art that I sell on my Etsy page.
5 Quick Facts about me:
1. I am a Christian who gets through each day by the grace of God.
2. I am a southern girl from Mississippi who has lived in many places but once again calls MS home.
3. I have always been creative/crafty and would much rather make something for myself and others than buy it.
4. I am pretty persistent when I want/need something done. My husband would call it stubborn, LOL!
5. My favorite way to spend my time is with my family. My husband and my kids are my greatest joy here on earth!
My hope for this account on Steemit is to share my art and the process behind it and what it is like being a work from home mom.

wow it took you 6 months before you wrote this.. steemit is a good for and you can share the word of God here every time you what. We don't look pn rewards but by the pleasure of sharing our thoughts.

Hey there girl, I'm Oatmeal Joey, and I love those Bible verses, he lettering, he art, and I do some art too. I draw too. James is n encouraging book. Proverbs is full of timeless wisdom. Great to hang up these posters. Maybe you can sell them here and all over the Internet if you want, if you are not already.

Welcome @southernmaid to Steemit. We will be passing through Mississippi on our way back from Florida later in March and planning on staying in Gulfport. It will be our first time in the state.
We home schooled our 3 kids through most of grade school. For one child it was the perfect decision as she would have fallen hopelessly behind in public school (she graduated college near the top of her class) For the oldest it would have been a better decision to put him in a classroom sooner then we did. Every kid is different.
I will give you a follow and upvote to welcome you here. Please consider coming on over to my little corner of Steemit and saying Hi. I am a leather artist, and have been a maker of one type or another, all my life.
I have been here 3 weeks and if I have learned one thing it is that minnows need to "school" together or risk getting lost in this fast moving and large creative ocean called Steemit.
