Introductory: The Journey

Hello Steemians!

I thought introducing yourself is like a piece of cake but it's not. I am almost out of words.

I am a teacher by profession but I made a choice to be in a uniform personnel focusing in safekeeping and enriching other’s lives to make a change and difference.

I thought I can leave my teaching profession but I always find myself in front of the crowd sharing my testimony. Indeed, there is always joy we earn from teaching.

Childhood:

I grew up in Carmen, Cebu. My grandparents were the one's who raised me. My mother was in the city working at that time struggling to make both ends meet. I’m quite strict maybe because I inherited this attitude from grandmother who was very strict and disciplinarian, especially when it comes to me (hehe). I’ve opened my eyes in this lovely earth without a father, I don’t know where he is but we don’t gain by crying over the things were lacking instead diverting our gaze to what are the blessings we have in our hands.

Teenage Life:

Music calms my nerve .Mostly, strumming guitar with my peers is past time. I enjoyed my teenage years, a typical province life where I do not think of anything else than playing, eating, studying then go home.

Adulthood:

I graduated, got a job and married. I think this is a normal chapter of life however; there were stories untold if we read between the lines.

I found a gem out of the million people in this world.

By the way, my wife's account name is @orhem which was so hilarious (lolz). The thing is STEEMIT was introduced by one of our closest friend and a sister in Faith. She encouraged us to create an account also. So to make the story short, my created account was approved (which was @orhem...hahaha) but hers wasn't approved. But also I believe in the world of marriage, the wife's also prevail (hahaha...well that's what i believe) to avoid any disputes. She was very eager and interested to join Steemit so I gave her my approved account and the rest was herstory.

Until my next account was approved after a number tries and struggle to create and account. I finally have a Steemit account (hurray!)

And finally, I am thankful for @honeyletsgo for encouraging us to join Steemit, It is a platform giving opportunities for everybody to make a difference and express ourselves.

I am looking forward to cast more upvotes to my fellow Steemians and post interesting facet of life.
