Sadly, we have to admit the fact that we haven’t been giving timely updates for some time now and that’s nothing to worry about but an indication that the team has been doing a lot of work in the background. Those who were here at the beginning of this project will remember our promise to deliver this service to several countries across the globe while fostering a global STEEM adoption through the instrumentality of convenience, trust and speed like no other platform offers. The model of this initiative has been tested successfully in Nigeria, Ghana and we can say without erring that it has been a huge success. We’ve had a commendable number of transactions as a result of our ever-increasing customer base and trust. Just before we bring you the news, let us restate our vision, mission and objectives and show you how we have been in line with it since over seven (7) months of launch.

WHAT IS STEEMX?
STEEMX is a certified exchange platform registered under REDRAVEN LTD to carry out business together with STEEMEXCHANGER.NG and STEEMXGH.COM. Its sole purpose is to convert STEEM, SBD and FIAT while fostering a global STEEM adoption.

We are desperately in need of functional, fast, simple gateways between STEEM and fiat. This is a very ambitious project and I'm happy to hear it's been working well in Ghana and Nigeria. The obstacles to running a system like this globally are quite formidable as there is a lot of legislation making it difficult to transact with fiat.
For example, here in the U.S. there are many crypto projects that are disallowed from operating due to not being certified as a financial institution. That being said, I wish this project all the best. Getting services like this up and running is essential to the overall success of the STEEM blockchain. I will be trying it out as soon as it's available to U.S. customers.

Just a bit of constructive criticism, the "S" in your logo is not really legible. It looks more like "漢teemX." I get that you're trying to stylize and it looks interesting, but unclear.

This looks like a cool service. Anything that reduces the friction of asset conversion will be a great benefit to the community. I look forward to the day where I don't need to convert back to fiat and can use my crypto directly, but to get there we need much great adoption. That adoption will come as pain points are reduced with getting fiat in and out of the system.

All the countries that can use at least one of these three; Paypal, Zelle and Square Cash will be able to use it.

I'm confused..
Our model in Nigeria and Ghana credits the bank accounts of users directly. However, to avoid any legal issues, the global version makes use of these medium of payment (PayPal, Zelle and Square Cash) after which users can quickly and easily move the funds to their banks.
That's fair enough, but your 'sell' is misleading somewhat, in that case...

Yes it is, some users have already tried it out. This is only day one since we went live with the global version. Also, we have served this model to over a thousand users in Africa. You can also take a look at @lukestokes 's weekly exchange reports. We are listed there.
hi @steemexchanger I would like you to explain or clarify something to me please. I dont find any information about this STEEM to PayPal in the PayPal website. I also called PayPal to ask about this, they told me that they do not know anything about it and PayPal is not supporting any crypto related transaction or deals.

Hello @el-cr, paypal does not support crypto currencies but supports USD transactions and that is exactly what we are doing. We don't convert STEEM to Paypal because Paypal is not a currency but a medium of exchange of Dollars and that is exactly what we are doing. When users convert their STEEM/SBD into dollars, we deposit the dollars into their paypal accounts. Coinbase only recently removed their paypal integration. Coinbase is the world's largest Crypto to Fiat exchanger and they use paypal even though PayPal doesn't transact cryptos. And that's because they did not convert Crypto to Paypal but into dollars. That's exactly what we are doing.
