Now that we’ve understood the fundamentals of however Steemit functions, ensuing question is: will it work from a content producer’s perspective? The short answer is affirmative, however there’s heaps additional thereto than that.

Before we have a tendency to take away additional into Steemit’s benefit as a content platform or investment vehicle, it’s value noting there square measure some question marks relating to Steem’s launch. One article alleges that the initial distribution method of tokens was outrigged which Steem isn't really a suburbanized network (Dash, anyone?). whether or not or not this is often true remains debatable – browse the article and draw your own conclusions.

Despite the arguably questionable nature of a number of its history, Steemit is by no means that a fly-by-night operation or a scam. it's operating and folks are becoming paid. The question is however well is it working? square measure users glad with it?

The answer to those queries looks to rely on World Health Organization you raise. One author claimed to own created round the equivalent of $2,300 in regarding four months:Can I participate in a web community for rewards and {really} build cash that may really get stuff or pay bills? YES… the solution is affirmative. the method isn’t super quick and includes a few steps concerned however it completely is done.
Another author chimed in:

There is undoubtedly heaps of cash to be created on Steemit however to be honest you’re about to have to be compelled to work the system to examine any success.
On the flipside, you'll conjointly realize so much less glad users:

Out of 230 articles roughly five had any noteworthy returns, none of that offset the price to jot down them. They even have a time period as long as a tweet […] I’m about to have to be compelled to offer Steemit a ‘D’ for content creators. There’s heaps additional you may accomplish on your own website in less time, alternative platforms ar additional sturdy with stronger substantiation, stronger tools, additional resources for those unaccustomed the community. So there are anecdotal pieces for evidence pointing in both directions, how can we make sense of this? You can always try it for yourself or take a closer look at the fundamental dynamics in play.

Starting from scratch on Steemit is undoubtedly a challenge. The odds of organically growing a following on the back of nothing more than quality content is a long shot that requires quite a bit of effort upfront.

To use the words of one redditor:

“I think Steemit desperately needs a better way of giving exposure to good new content. You could write the best blog post in the world but it’ll get immediately lost in a sea of s*** if you don’t upvote it into the hot or trending section quickly.
Also, if you already have a following, then joining Steemit wouldn’t make much sense, as it would require all your followers to get on board the platform to support you.

On the other hand, if you’re an early adopter, willing to invest a good deal of money in Steem Power, or you succeed in developing relationships with those holding SP, you can leverage these positions to make a lot of money on your content. Scroll down the front page of Steemit and you’ll find posts that have all made an average of $200–500.

There are also stories of huge payouts for single viral pieces of content. Those, however, are the exception.

Getting paid $2,739 for a blog post isn’t bad. But it’s like any social media platform – a few people are making a killing at the top while quite a few others will end up lang

Though We know it,TheN we Thank You On behalf Steemit for your valuable feedback.

Steemit is largely a 'racket' for its creators and bigger investors. I guess the guys creating and selling bots do well too. From my reading I am told that the top 35 Whales have more Steem power than all the other Steeemers combined. As far as new creators, not much chance unless you pay for bot services, or are willing to put in really excessive time to post and make contacts. I see big creators from other platforms (YouTube) don't really create original content for Steemit, they just use it as a dumping ground. For myself, I will stick with it for a time, see what happens. But content is not really King on Steemit, playing the Steemit system is.

Welcome to Steemit by the way, good luck!

Thank you very much.
