We can probably all agree that what is difficult about Steem is discovering good content. Finding interesting posts outside of one’s own feed is close to impossible as there are thousands of new posts created every day. The only way how posts can spread throughout the community is by resteems, which is slow and limited to already existing user connections. We as the team behind Steeve believe that this is a fundamental problem of Steem and we decided to do something about it.
The Sieve for Steem...
There is a need for something like a sieve that would filter the blockchain so that the good content doesn’t get buried in the huge number of new posts. But what is good content? That is, of course, different for each and every single user....is Steeve
Our answer to this problem is Steeve - an AI-based recommendation engine. Steeve is looking at user behavior such as votes, comments, follows and other blockchain operations and tries to find recommendations beyond the user’s original Steem feed. This way Steeve can find interesting posts for each user individually. We hope that this feature will make readers more engaged and satisfied because finding good new undervalued authors will be much easier. You can interact with Steeve using a web interface. While I really like the idea, I don't feel comfortable authorizing the application Steeve to use my posting role;

As I mentioned, you don't have to grant permissions to Steeve any more in case you want to check it out. Just check
Browse content onlybefore clickingCreate an account, that will verify your identity, but Steeve won't get any permissions.@gtg It is now possible to enter Steeve in browsing mode only. Just check the checkbox on the welcome screen before clicking
Authenticate...The article seems to be broken right now on Steemit, although the preview looked alright. We cannot edit the article because of a bug, being out of RC at the moment.

I just tried it. It was a bit confusing at first since I tried to sign in, looked like it was going through, but then wouldn't work until I signed up.
It found some good articles. So far enjoying the experience, particularly the slider with low sp accounts. The popup text is a bit small to read. Thanks for sending me the link to this.

Yes, we are showing content from Steem. Also when you publish through Steeve the post is sent to the blockchain and thus you can earn your author rewards as anywhere else!
Every other dapp is offering certain rewards tontheir user...is steeveapp has also something to offer ?

We are currently in alpha phase. So you are welcome to test it out while we are adding new features.
We have some plans regarding rewards for users (and also rewards for Steeve :) ), but we want to first find out what the users like. Then we will let you know for sure!

There is now only a single button to enter Steeve, so clicking that button should get you inside now...
