I have to learn how to relax more I suffer badly from depression and have a disability that makes it hard for me to get out and have a life. I will def try and relax more
@karen54 depression is something that #meditation has been clinically proven to help with time and again. There are now various clinics around the world that run programs to aid their patients, often with the use of either Loving Kindness meditation or mindfulness meditation. The later of those techniques often being used due to its separated nature from spiritual and religious systems, though there is a very wide variety of techniques which can help.
Starting out with meditating can be incredibly easy too, even if you feel you only have 5 minutes or so you can achieve very pleasant results and gently build up to longer periods if you feel you wish too. There are many who have reported just from 2 sessions of 10 minutes each day that they have created a very different and far more positive experience of life. So it is really worth getting into.
As an additional benefit healing has been noted to improve dramatically as a result of meditative practice. So giving yourself a little time to become quiet and calm each day could see you improve your health in other ways too, something worth trying out at the very least.

I usually just leave it up to the universe and whoever comes to them comes to them, though in your case I would actually like to offer them to you free of charge. How does that sound to you? Being able to stay in the house can in some ways be a gift for you right now, it gives you plenty of time to practice meditation in peace and quiet, assuming you can create a quiet space that is! Generating life change takes very little, the decision to start is the main thing, then the mindset to flow with it to something more positive than you had before. Then it is just up to practising with the techniques you choose to use. From there a new life awaits you! :)
