So this is Steemit & What have I done?

So here goes the introduction!

I'm Stuart Price, from a small town in the North East of England. Thankfully when I was younger I got a computer for Christmas, a trusty Amstrad CPC 464, which lead me on a fine journey of being able to use a computer properly although since I was in College back in 1997 technology has all moved past me.

So I play with basic graphics, and making money online. I had a channel on YouTube which was mildly popular under the name of stupriceuk and then stoopidstu, and I was involved in running a forum at www.tube-tubers.com for the Vloggers of the early days of YouTube which has long since been abandoned, and was even sent a free webcam from Renetto.

From there I posted articles and photos on Triond until that website went away, then moved on to Cafepress. You'll find the last incarnation of my T-shirt shop at www.cafepress.com/stoopidstu. It used to make me a lot of money before copyright claims brought a stop to it. But not before I managed to sell my work to about 28 different countries. Since 2006, I have probably received around $5,000 in commission which isn't a lot for a business but to me, fantastic for a hobby that has cost me nothing but time I would have wasted.

These days I barely update the Cafepress account, and sporadically update my RedBubble account as life just gets in the way. Working six days a week and being a family man in between is pretty time consuming, but still I'm here to really see what steemit is all about.

Hopefully both the website and the users will teach me a few things.

Welcome. I think you're really going to like it here.

Welcome to Steemit. It's possible to earn well here if you can attract the right followers. You can re-post videos and that can pay better than Youtube does.

I'm also in the UK (down south). I've been here a year and done pretty well even if I'm still a fairly small fish. I've made a lot of friends here and it's been fun.

Thanks for the good article

Wellcome to steemit
