We are pleased to have you be a part of this community. Opportunities abound here, but success will require effort on your part. I would encourage you to find a few areas of your interests and seek out posts that others have made in those areas, read them and make meaningful comments to the author or others who have commented. Make your own posts on subjects you are interested in and use the appropriate "tags" so that people with similar interests will have a chance to find you.
An unwritten "rule" is never ask for up votes or "spam" a post with comments that don't apply. One or two word comments like "Great post" or "Very interesting" aren't appreciated on this platform either.
You seem to be a very bright young lady, you should do fine here. Just make an effort and you will succeed. Another tip would be to spend some time in the "introduceyourself" area, as I am doing now, greeting folks. You will meet some very nice people and it is time well spent.
