Sorry for the late reply man, been playing for roughly 11 years. Do you also play guitar?
I'm more of a singer myself. Dabbled a little bit in drums with Rock Band (I have a Yamaha DTXpress III for pro drums), but nothing too crazy there.
Part of me wants to find a guitarist friend who's willing to let me borrow some of their pedals to mess around with. I want to feed my mic through the pedals and see what the distortion does to it. I think it'd be fun to try, but I don't want to spend money on it...
