I respectfully disagree with the rewards given for this post.
Personally I can not see how this post should be valued at over $20, so I will "downvote" it (unfortunately still misrepresented by a flag icon on Steemit.com).
This is meant as gesture towards the content itself only, not at all to be taken as personal towards the user posting and since I hold very little power on this platform it is very unlikely to harm the user him or herself.
More information about my voting patterns can be found in my profile description. Please don't let this minor speedbump keep anyone from posting what You consider to be great content!
-As a personal note to badguacamole, I happen to think Pizzagate is mostly a collectivist mass mythomania but I'm also a very controversial person myself. You'll probably fit right in here on the Steem blockchain! Welcome! Keep a look out for the new user interface expected to be released soon by @busy.org
I think it's incredibly rude to downvote a first-time poster in introduceyourself, even if you disagree with the rewards. It's not like people are posting in introduceyourself every day. :/
I've explained why I vote the way I do in other places, but I do understand your perspective sneak.
The guidelines for downvoting were changed to be much looser just a few days ago and it no longer means what it used to. The flag icon just adds to the confusion and should be removed, after which the strenght of some users downvotes should be lowered.
Busy.org are also working on separating the flag from the downvote, so you can have both options. That would probably be the best way.
Be well,

The guidelines are not relevant; what you're doing is rude. That is a subjective assessment.
I hope that you stop being rude to new users because of your own personal opinions about the allocation of minuscule amounts of money. It's ridiculous and unwelcoming.
I very respectfully disagree with everything quoted.
I will continue not being intentionally rude to anyone, but new users on a platform that still hasn't left beta testing yet will need thicker skin than users on other platforms.
I'm not breaking any rules that I've signed up to adhere to on this platform and economically speaking I've so far also not lowered the reputation of a user or in any essential way even the rewards for a specific post.
To add to this, I only found this post by scrolling down the trending page. It was doing very well already and still is.
I don't agree with this at all. I think the correct response to not liking something on steemit (with the exception of spam or low-value repetition) is to move on to other posts. Very rarely should posts or comments that are not part of a larger pattern ever be flagged/downvoted.
I might just one day for fun make the flag button on steemit.com appear to work, but actually just mute the user.

If you can name any particular hard facts of crimes comitted that I can gather from doing that, then I will consider it. For now I've openly said I'm done with looking for "evidence" until there is any meaningful such to be had in terms of a real criminal investigitation, which I quite honestly can't find even as I find much of what has been uncovered to be strange and/or discussing.
-Also, I think you might find friends in people like @ausbitbank @dollarvigilante amongst others.
