I would like to take this time to introduce myself to the steemit community. I am so excited to see what this platform can do for us and where it will go. My name is Richie and the whole steemit concept is an exciting thing to watch unfold.
I have never been one to blog much but have always been intrigued by the concept. Id like to first start out by talking about my hobbies and things that drive me as a person.
Like you I am a person who has many things that excite them. I have a love for music and art that is unmached.
I have been with this platform just shy of 3 weeks and on my first day I wrote my initial about me post. The previous post was lacking in every way. I feel as if it was rushed and lacked premium content about myself.
A bit about myself
I am 24 years old, and I am from Detroit. I currently study arts and communication, I make a full-time income from the comfort of my home and I just became a father. I am very proud to say that I have an amazing wife and family. I am a technology nerd and love everything about how tech is shaping our future.

I also have a step son who I have helped raise for the past 4 years. He is awesome. Reminds me of myself when I was a child.

I like to consider myself a decent cook! My family says I am.. I try to mix things up!
My goal here on steemit is to provide as much valuable content as possible while contriuting a positive message to the steem it community.
I was introduced to the steemit platform last year but forgot about it for some reason. I recently started investing in cryptocurrencies and stumbled upon steemit once again. As fate would have it I created an account. Knowing that I love to produce rich and valuable content I found that steemit could serve as another platform to do so.
What are my plans for steemit? What do I expect?
As I start my journey here on steemit, I plan to grow a following based on love for knowledge and discovery. I will update my Steemit blog daily. I have huge plans for my blog here on steemit and hope that you all follow my journey. I vow to keep my content fresh and unique so that all of my friends and followers can gain something from each post. I strive to learn at least one new thing a day and plan on helping everyone who reads my blogs do the same. Sourced from my original introduction
