I'm new to the site and following the suggestion to begin by posting replies in order to get a feel for how the system works. I see that you're from Minneapolis and a barista to boot, and for that reason you're my first contact. I currently live in Maple Grove (27 years here), which is just down the road from you a spell, but had lived many years in the Uptown-Lakes area in Minneapolis. My 26 year old son is currently living on Lagoon in that same area, and from his living room window he can look out and see an apartment building I had occupied some 40 or so years ago. Also, my wife loves to hang out at the local Cub grocery Dunn Brothers where she has made friends with many of the baristas that work there. So it only made sense to say hey to a neighbor.

Thank you for stopping by to say hello! The uptown area is great! I live close by as well. I love the big-town, small-town vibe Minneapolis has, and the awesome pockets of communities it has to offer -especially at a local coffee shop ;)
