you might be interested in some tunes by the Dead Milkman, Circle Jerks, and the Dead Kennedys. Also a band called the Germs was pretty cool stuff. I was a young punk rocker, then got into metal for a few years because of it. I've gotten older and settled into old jazz and blues, but I still have a love for my punk rock. LOL!

I'll be sure to check them out. Dead Kennedy's is a familiar name I haven't heard in a while, but I've never really given them a listen.

That's awesome though, I guess when I was really young I liked a few punk bands and songs but it never entirely clicked, Symphonic Black Metal is where I found my calling initially and it opened me up to more raw black metal, Death Metal, then Thrash Metal. And then I got into more classic/heavy/speed metal afterwards. Some Jazz is just awesome but I've always just listened to it occasionally and was never well versed in specific artists, the same would go for blues. It's certainly something to invest time into exploring more in the future!

SBM is great stuff!! I think it's some of the only real metal that I can listen to anymore. My ears can't take a lot of the newer stuff, it just gets to be too much for me. LOL!
