Thank you. I was told something very interesting today. The painting of my dad is not absolutely precise and there are subtleties that can be distinguished from his figure, yet I was not told that that was equal to a failed replication. I was told that somehow I superimposed myself into the portrait and it is a perfect combination of our facial features. Everyone present during my discussion apparentally had reached the same consensus. But... it was definitely not something I consciously attempted to do. Doesn't that almost seem a bit too surreal or what?!
