Hola, chicos. Mi nombre es Yolisber, tengo 20 años. Soy Venezolana y vivo en el estado Monagas, Venezuela. Estudio una carrera de salud en la Universidad Nacional Experimental Rómulo Gallegos. Pertenezco a la facultad de Fisioterapia, ya apunto de iniciar mi segundo año en la carrera. Siendo franca, estudiar Fisioterapia no era mi primera opción, siento mucha afinidad por los idiomas, me gustan mucho, siento que se me da bien aprenderlos, y tenía pensando estudiar la carrera de Idiomas Modernos, pero la verdad no me arrepiento de la desición que tomé. Actualmente hablo español e inglés, pero en mis metas está poder aprender Francés e Italiano. En mi tiempo libre suelo dar asesorías personalizadas de Inglés a los estudiantes que lo requieran y, a su vez, me divierto haciéndolo.

I belong to the Physiotherapy faculty, and I am about to start my second year in the career. Being frank, studying physiotherapy was not my first choice, I feel a lot of affinity for languages, I like them very much, I feel that I am good at learning them, and I was thinking of studying Modern Languages, but the truth is that I do not regret the decision I made. Currently I speak Spanish and English, but my goals are to learn French and Italian. In my free time I usually give personalized English tutoring to students who require it and, at the same time, I have fun doing it and practice the language.
About my career / Acerca de mi carrera
Como había mencionado anteriormente, no era mi primera opción, de hecho, nunca en mi vida había pasado por mi mente estudiar una carrera de salud porque sentía que no era lo mío. Después de una exhaustiva búsqueda de lo que quería hacer, de experiencias en otra carrera, y de pensar cuál sería mi fuerte, decidí darle una oportunidad a esta carrera. Claro está que es una decisión que no podría salir tan bien, porque es bastante exigente, y de no gustarte, sientes que acabará contigo, pero en mi caso, aprendí amarla, ver lo hermosa que es, y que en definitiva, es mi lugar. Me apasiona mucho la idea de que en un futuro no muy lejano, podré ayudar a muchas personas a mejorar su calidad de vida o, incluso, cambiarla por completo cuando ya había perdido la esperanza. Como solemos decir en la facultad: "Fisioterapia no se limita."

As I had mentioned before, it was not my first choice, in fact, it had never crossed my mind to study a health career because I felt it was not my thing. After an exhaustive search of what I wanted to do, experiences in another career, and thinking about what my forte would be, I decided to give this career a chance. About my life / acerca de mi vida.
Soy la hija menor (somos 5 hermanos, 3 mujeres y 2 hombres). Soy más apegada al mayor de mis hermanos, porque fué con quién viví en casa, compartí mucho más, y que como toda relación de hermanos, tuvimos que aprender a querernos. Actualmente está residiendo en Chile, pero aún así, mantenemos comunicación. Mis padres se llaman Emma y Luis. Tengo muy buena relación con ellos y son un pilar fundamental en mi vida, siempre han estado para mí para apoyarme y ayudarme en todo lo que necesite. Un dato curioso sobre mi nombre, es que está compuesto por los nombres de mi abuela paterna (Yolanda), mi papá (Luis) y el segundo nombre de mi mamá (Berenice). Mi familia es muy numerosa, sobre todo la materna, tanto que me atrevo a decir que tengo familia regada por todo el mundo, pero eso ya sería otro tema

I am the youngest daughter (we are 5 siblings, 3 women and 2 men). I am more attached to the oldest of my siblings, because it was with whom I lived at home, shared much more, and like any sibling relationship, we had to learn to love each other. About my hobbies / acerca de mis hobbies.
Desde muy pequeña me ha encantado la música, he estado en clases de piano, violín y guitarra. Pero lo que siempre me ha encantado es cantar, lo hago desde que tengo memoria, nunca he ido a clases de canto, aún así considero hacerlo bastante bien, tal vez un día me anime a compartir esa parte de mi con ustedes. Por otro lado, también me gusta leer, dibujar aunque esté un poco apartada de esa actividad, me gusta mucho colorear (sobre todo mandalas), tomar fotografías y admirar la naturaleza. Siempre me ha llamado muchísimo la atención dos cosas, el Karate y el Ballet pero lamentablemente nunca tuve la oportunidad de practicar ninguno. Sin embargo, estoy abierta a aprender cosas nuevas, disfrutar todo lo que la vida tiene para ofrecerme y descubrir nuevas pasiones y actividades favoritas que me esperan.

Since I was a little girl I have loved music, I have taken piano, violin and guitar lessons. But what I've always loved is singing, I've been doing it since I can remember, I've never taken singing lessons, even though I think I can do it pretty well, maybe one day I'll share that part of me with you. On the other hand, I also like to read, draw although I'm a little distant from that activity, I like coloring (especially mandalas), taking pictures and admiring nature. I have always been very interested in two things, Karate and Ballet but unfortunately I never had the opportunity to practice any of them. However, I am open to learn new things, enjoy all that life has to offer and discover new passions and favorite activities that await me.
