Goodmorning everyone! I joined Steemit a few days ago. I find this electrifying experience, for me it was like an electrocution.
I am a musician, I play the piano, synthesizers and I also work with the computer. I write music for film, theater and 1000 other things including concerts, conferences and music teaching. .
One of my main activities is to accompany old silent films live. As it once was, when the films did not have the sound, there was always a pianist in the cinemas who commented with the music on the images. As they say in jargon they are a "Silent pianist". Some may seem strange but there are several silent film festivals around the world, and the most important is in Italy, "The days of silent cinema" that takes place every year in the city of Pordenone and attracts audiences from every corner of the planet.
I live in Italy, not too far from the city of Venice. In addition to music, my interests are: art in general, archeology and history, the universe with its thousand mysteries, walks in nature, culinary art and of course the Web and the latest technologies .
In the family we are 4, my beloved wife, who among its many qualities can withstand all my antics. My 10-year-old son, who is also passionate about technology and basketball and who starts taking his first steps in music, would already like to publish a disc! And little Camomilla , a sweet shih tzu dog, always ready to give us joy and affection.
My intuition tells me that Steemit has enormous potential, and I intend to apply it seriously. Besides the possible gains, you can meet interesting people and maybe some good collaboration can be born between those with similar interests and skills. I think this way of understanding the social is the future.

Buon giorno a tutti! Da pochi giorni mi sono iscritto a Steemit. Trovo questa esperienza elettrizzante, per me è stata come una folgorazione.
Io sono un musicista, suono il pianoforte, i sintetizzatori e lavoro anche con il computer. Scrivo musica per film, teatro e 1000 altre cose tra cui concerti, conferenze ed insegnamento della musica. .
Una delle mie attività principali è quella di accompagnare dal vivo i vecchi film muti. Come si faceva una volta, quando i film non avevano il sonoro c'era sempre un pianista nei cinema che commentava con la musica le immagini. Come si dice in gergo sono un “Silent pianist”. A qualcuno potrà sembrare strano ma esistono diversi Festival di cinema muto in giro per il mondo, ed il più importante è in Italia, “Le giornate del cinema muto” che si svolge tutti gli anni nella città di Pordenone ed attira pubblico da ogni angolo del pianeta.
Vivo in Italia, non troppo distante dalla città di Venezia. Oltre alla musica, i miei interessi sono: l'arte in generale, l'archeologia e la storia, l'universo con i suoi mille misteri, le passeggiate in mezzo alla natura, l'arte culinaria e naturalmente il Web e le ultime tecnologie.
In famiglia siamo in 4, la mia amata moglie, che tra i suoi tanti pregi riesce a sopportare tutte le mie stramberie. Mio figlio di 10 anni, anche lui appassionato di tecnologia, di basket e che comincia a muovere i primi passi in musica, vorrebbe già pubblicare un disco! E la piccola Camomilla, una dolce cagnolina shih tzu, sempre pronta a regalarci gioia ed affetto.
Il mio intuito mi dice che Steemit ha delle potenzialità enormi, ed ho intenzione di applicarmici seriamente. Oltre ai possibili guadagni, si possono conoscere persone interessanti e magari può nascere qualche bella collaborazione tra chi ha interessi e competenze simili. Penso che questo modo di intendere il social sia il futuro.

Sono stata attirata dal tuo nome (Sandokan fu il mio primo "amore", da bambina), ed ho scoperto un artista contemporaneo interessante ed eclettico. Ho ascoltato quasi tutto quello che hai postato e mi è piaciuto molto Morfeo2. Non sapevo ci fossero ancora pianisti da cinema muto! Spero di scoprire presto nuovi brani tuoi.
