Hello. This post is to introduce my self and share a little about the topic of my first blog.
My name is Zadok and I live in Queensland Australia. On the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
Yep that's me Zadok, always wearing a hat. Well use to.... I was bald on top but I didn't like to tell any-one and I'm pretty sure now that wearing a hat can make a person go bald. Any-how, I use to be embarrassed about that ha ha! but now it don't matter any more since all my hair fell out when I went through Kemo, No No, don't worry about me. Every-thing is good I am back in good health again but I just continue to shave my head cause... well, I like it shiny and I thank God for it.
Funny how some things in life just make a person think. What's important you know? I guess I don't need to tell you about that but I use to think that me hair falling out was a really big deal.
Lately Iv'e learnt a lot about life, friends, family and especially about me. I took a lot for granted but now I can truly tell you that I know what it means to love people and to be loved. I say that modestly because I didn't really know what that meant before.
Any-how I'd like to tell you a little about my first post on Steemit and why I choose the subject.
I heard about Steemit 3 days ago. It sounded like a great idea and after a little research I decided to try and give it a go.
Deciding on a topic to write about for my first post was not an easy decision. Any-how, I had a look at what others were posting, I thought that should give me the idea for a perfect post, but it didn't. I just don't feel comfortable writing about the benefits of ginger or how to wear some fashion accessory or how to bake a cake even if those posts do look good.
I decided to research a subject that I am interested in, something that I want to find out more about. I am sure that there are others who will be interested to know what I found.
I certainly didn't expect the task of researching my chosen subject to be as laborious as it turned out to be. Using only non-biblical literature from the 1st 2nd century. I really wasn't expecting to find as much information as there is to confirm the historical Jesus.
I know that others who take the time to follow the links to the original documents, will be surprised and find the subject as fascinating as I have. Accordingly I have only referenced documents that are considered verbatim.
There is as much and more evidence for the existence of Jesus as there is for any important person of that time. However, if it happened! The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the most phenomenal event of importance in human history. It is worthy of our highest attention yet each of us must draw our own conclusion.
It can be shown that Christ Jesus did exist but if he did not rise from the dead Christianity is nonsense and worthless!
