This will be a brief introduction:
Having just finished university exams for the year (failing I might add); I am eager to engage with the community.
I am quite new to the cryptocurrency scene; only purchasing my first Bitcoin and Ethereum a few months ago. I needed bitcoin to make online purchases but for no logically reason I also bought 4 ETH at $50 each. At the time of writing ETH is $400. Naturally I was excited as the price exploded and found myself driving deeper into cryptocurrencies.
With little knowledge, I began margin trading ETH, within a few days I had 'earned' another coin. I was loving the 'free money'….
As you may know a few weeks ago there was panic selling; I was asleep and being a smart individual I held long positions. The price fell so far that it triggered a failsafe feature meaning that my positions were sold for a loss of 4 coins. To cause more anguish my coins were sold for the lowest price in the crash. In a state of shock and FOMO I bought my coins back and learned to HODL the hard way.
I have never margined traded again.
I am currently holding ETH AND Zencash however my zen is in limbo. I am hopeful that I can recover my wallet from the backup file. I am using Nicehash to mine Zencash which is easy enough that being said I still have a lot to learn.
Regardless of my failures, cryptocurrencies still amaze me with their applications. Most recently Steem.
The future looks bright.
