Hello HIVE COMMUNITY!
I'm Angelo, a 28-year-old Filipino from the Pearl of the Orient Seas.
I'm currently employed with San Miguel Corporation as a final inspector. I enjoy biking, traveling, and trying new things. I also enjoy photography, and when I first learnt about blogging here in HIVE, I joined the Photography Community.
ABOUT ME AND MY FAMILY
This is my mother and father. My mother worked as a professor at the University of the Philippines, but horrible things happened, and she suffered a stroke. Thankfully, the stroke was not severe, and she is currently working as a librarian at the university, despite the fact that the stroke left her half of her body paralyzed. I was a small child at the time, so I couldn't do much more for her, therefore whenever she asks for assistance, I always try to assist her. My father was away at the time because he was working in Saudi Arabia as a Heavy Equipment Operator, operating cranes, bulldozers, and other heavy equipment. So when my mother had a stroke, I was devastated. My dad can't come home right away.
This was a difficult period in my family, as it is in every family, but having these difficulties at such a young age made me stronger and motivated me to study more so that I could get a job and support my parents.
WHAT MADE ME START BLOGGING?
Recently I've learned about Hive blogs from my friends in Splinterlands.
I'm very thankful that I played Splinterlands because Technically if I had not played Splinterlands I would have know about hive blogging.
My friends saw my photos on social media and thought I was crazy for taking them, so they persuaded me to start blogging here at hive. I assumed they were joking at first because that's what friends do most of the time. However, I done my homework and discovered a lot about hive blogging. And this provides me with the opportunity to develop and pursue my photography interest. I have a Facebook page dedicated to my trips and photography, and I hope it is acceptable to post the link below.
Decision
This is an opportunity for me to market my page as well as my photography passion and skills, as well as an opportunity to earn money, therefore I'm starting my first blog here in the hive and hoping for a warm welcome.
