My best regards to the Steemit community. Finally, after a long wait, I got the green light to start this virtual experience with a group of friends, also virtual, in order to share my walk, learn more and continue to grow in experience.
What motivated my enrollment in this community?
A few months ago I received an email from my friend and colleague Alexaivy Torres inviting me to a meeting about this virtual community and the opportunity to write articles and receive compensation in crypto currencies for the contribution. I confess that in principle the invitation was forgotten. Some time later, in the corridor of the university we talked about it again, the story of his experiences and the satisfaction with which he spoke to me ignited my desire to belong to that virtual group and immediately asked him to send me the contact, I made the request and Here I am, with many expectations and desire to share knowledge and experiences.
What do I expect?
The expectations I have are the same as any person who is starting something with great excitement and desire to share experiences and knowledge with other peers who share my interests, as well as learn from them and make friends. I trust to find many steemians followers and that my posts are really useful and interesting.
Let's talk in green
Let me introduce myself ... I am a professor at the Pedagogical Experimental University of Libertador, Pedagogical Institute core of Barquisimeto (Venezuela) of the courses Vegetal Biology and Research Projects in Biology and occasionally Fundamentals of Biology. At this university I studied the Teaching of Biology and the Doctorate of Education and I really enjoy teaching and sharing with my students, because they always learn from them and learn lots of them in all fields.

Why speak in green? Well, because it is true that at some point, guided by inspiration, I am going to write a biological article, my greatest desire is to do it especially on plants, that silent and misunderstood green world, often because of ignorance of its great value for all living beings. I am passionate about everything related to them and I try to inculcate it to my students through activities that achieve in them a change of attitude, which by the way, I do not know if I have achieved it at all, however, I have won different botanical children in the path. That is why I will mainly refer to the plants SPEAKING GREEN.

Teach Botany?
Since they discovered my great hobby, I tell them how I work in the field of teaching Botany. As every teacher I am always thinking, how can we ensure that students not only memorize concepts and names but also acquire knowledge and apply it or relate it to the truth that surrounds us? And the answer to these concerns is in experiential learning. It is necessary not only the class, the explanations, the work in the laboratory, but also the application of those acquired knowledge through activities, field work or elaboration of didactic resources, among which lately I have ventured into the elaboration of videos Didactic botanists with Prof. Jairo Rivera (also a steemians and expert in this field) in which he was the editor and we have obtained very good results to complement the teaching of Botany. I promise to apply that knowledge acquired by making small videos to be presented in this blog. All these activities lead the student to discover that the world of botany is impressive, ingeniously thought by nature and tremendously efficient in its functions, discovering it is fascinating through activities that directly involve it.
My purpose is to present my educational experiences in this field, which could be taken into account in other latitudes, share results and enrich them according to the implementation of each teacher who repeats them.

I hope they are useful for all those who struggle every day to try to impart knowledge of quality and above all, experiential and applicable, not only rote.
And now that you know me, you talk to me in green?
