Dear Hive Lovers,
Welcome to the diary of a matured mind where you get to experience and learn from the maturity and realization of this unique mind. It has come to my notice that this platform has begun to gain a massive wave and if you are not a part of it, it feels like you are missing out on the futuristic decentralization we are heading towards.
But first who is this stranger that has given us an intro into his diary? Yeah, that is me, the weird-looking guy with a lanky posture and everlasting smile on his cheekbone gotten from the presence of a well-rapped blunt with a delightful lighter to lighten up the occasion and brighten up my mood.
Still funny as it seems to me, I am a graduate in a field that requires the use of letters of the alphabet to construct words for passing information, a means of communication. The funny part relates to the fact that I find myself in a place where communication with words and drafting out articles from inspiration is no longer daunting to my subconscious, it may be due to my desire to express my mind, or maybe the degree earned is working its magic. Who can tell?
Well, thanks to the perpetual reminder from @samostically that there is a huge opportunity to be explored on Hive if you are willing to be a part of it. Honestly, it’s still dangling in my memory how he made it an unconscious habit to remind me that with HIVE you can do this and you can achieve that. Let buttress further, in his words: > “GUY!!! GUY!!! GUY!!! come on board on Hive, there is a whole new space where you can express yourself through your creativity and still make a living from”. Up to date, I don’t know why I didn’t cave as soon as possible to his charming and sparky sanguine words about HIVE. OH I remember, I promised him I would listen when he gets to a reputation of 70. Finally, he surpassed it, and now you are reading my introductory post.
A BRIEF INSIGHT INTO MY LIFE IF YOU ARE CURIOUS
If you are interested in getting a glimpse into what my life may look like, you need to know a few things in total,
- I am an introvert that’s trying to explore the walls of extroversion.
- Developed a strong bond with audiobooks that best describes the state of my emotion at any given moment.
- Dabbling with words to express my heart in a way it best fits.
- And lastly, my newfound love for a well-rapped-up blunt filled with tree content that puts the body and soul in a state of readiness for spirituality mixed with high sensation.
So tell me what comes to your mind when you read these words and what mental image has been bestowed in your brain about me. Well I think I should not be saying this out loud, but wait a minute, there is no need to be silent cause I am the bowl of contention or rather the focus of the conservation here. Also, ponder upon it for a minute, why is something like this so decentralized if it does not come with the benefit of expressing yourself in the best possible way you see fit? Now, you should get my point of narration and the reasons behind why I will always try to make sure my words have some type of meaning in your retentive memory when you read them.
Check the bullets, most likely the first one. I mentioned ‘’I’m an introvert exploring the walls of extroversion.’’ Which for me, best describes the true story at the moment. For a while, I’ve held up an izzat that portrays me as an individual who’s probably shy, timid, and even scared of associating with people in public. This izzat has even come with a description used in the world of today, as being claustrophobic as it is well used. This could be as a result of my up-becoming or probably the parent-child relationship between me and my parents, or better still as Africans in the Western region would call it HOME TRAINING
But HEY here comes the twist with me, I have chosen to embark on a self-realization journey that involves me being the total opposite of what I used to be, with the advent of discovering what it feels like to be a different person. So through my words, attitude, expression, and most of all my relationship with others, I have decided to say open-minded and free to see what comes with it. But stay tuned to me to see what the adventure brings out.
Currently, I am exploring the world of TECH, most precisely Blockchain Technology. What comes with it, the benefit to be gained, and most importantly what it would feel like to live the life of a Blockchain Developer. Now you see the underlining added advantage my friend @samostically had in deploying me into the WEB3 world of Hive.

Before I forget, do not be moved by the waves of my writing so far, into placing me under the umbrella of a science nerd like the ones described in the popular sitcom, “The Big Bang Theory”, cause trust me then you have me all figured out wrongly. For reminder sake, still bear in mind, that I’m still that lanky guy with smiles gotten from the presence of a rolled-up blunt and this will tell you “I don’t fit well into any constructed tag except the one that best describes me”
The Story Behind the username “Black Avalon
LOL!!!!!
If you admit it for a minute, you would see that I got you there. You were probably expecting a story behind the invention of my username, if I even go further, I am sure if you are a comic book type of person, be it Marvel or DC, you probably felt the username should have a super-heroic tide to its establishment but sorry it does. For me, it is just a combination of the color black and the name of a version of the Toyota car. So do the maths, you get black + Avalon. And that’s just it. Like my favorite author, Mark Manson would say
So thanks for giving a fuck about the story behind my username.
