Many members are groaning in disappointment of not making hundreds of steem dollars daily like those steemians in hot and trending pages. The reality, however, is that all will reach the promise land if all are true to steemit (buy steem and power up) , prudently comment on people posts and consistently post great contents – which will lead to growth in genuine followers (please avoid joining follow for follow bots which send in fake followers ). On the others hand, if you feel that steemit is terrible due to low payout, then I advise you to go to Facebook , Reddit , Youtube or Instagram and check out how many cent you will make in a week of hard work!!!!
Here are few points to note:
- Great reward: Steemit , for example, is the platform that will give solid return on investment (ROI) to rich investors and at the same time help a broke person to be out of poverty due to the ability to start without nothing and its great reward system for authenticity, hardwork and great contents-unlike Facebook which is the poor man slayer in terms of financial reward- see my former post for details . Moreover , you need only internet, a computer and willingness to work hard in order to make it on steemit.
- Motivation: no matter if you are rich or broke, if your motivation here is the fun and knowledge you will gain here, then you will be very successful because the money will surely come-you only need time… @cloudspyder, for example , gave an excellent comment on my former post see link :
To become successful in steemit I know one solution, don't expect a vote and just post your idea. Honestly, no one care. Who care about you is only you. Just do it, enjoy steemit, read and read. The main reward here is not steem and sbd but the knowledge you get from reading. Me I don’t get enough vote and steem but I got enough knowledge about crypto and knowledge gives me free money. In fact in the I just get a couple of dollars investing right.This is so true and many new members should take note - Community: In reality, I joined for the money (financial return ) however stayed for the community and great new friends. Examples are great things I learn daily from @papa-pepper (my dear wild man) , @meesterboom (Milord) , @lydon.sipe , @lukestokes , @sweetsssj and @exyle quality contents that are filled with knowledge including @quinneaker and @kenhudoy amazing health tips (and many others ) plus many communities that will help you to grow no matter if you are rich or poor---pls read here for full details
Conclusion: Steemit is a platform that the rich and broke can join and be more successful. What is needed are authenticity, hard work and great contents . Furthermore, joining for the community and having fun (without daily control of trending pages )will lead to future growth and subsequently, great financial return- however it might take time and thus patience is needed.

I just wrote a post yesterday about how if we all just power up our rewards here we need not actually buy in or invest any money and the price of $teem will only continue to increase every day! Then in one year we will all be rich!

Good point, I agree with you and like your post. I do , however, understand that many people have financial needs and thus might need money...however at least should maintain the 50/50 split isnt it?
Yes though most people were surviving before steemit so now its just "extra" invest that extra and get WAY more in the long term.

Nice one and I totally agree... I came into steemit personally for the 💰 is offers but at a time I began to see a whole new option for me which is knowledge... Knowledge they say is power...I began to empower myself through reading informative posts on diverse areas which includes crypto, nature, travel, tech... Etc... I also decided to contribute my own knowledge in areas of natural health and the response is awesome... Hi @charles1, it's an honor to mention on your post. Thank you sir. By the, you're right, honestly I came to steemit to make decent amount of money but I don't expect anything from my post. In fact I am not born to be a writer. The only reason why I am here is to learn about the crypto, what is new, where are the free coins, and which one is good to invest in a long-term. And by doing so, I am enjoying and the knowledge is come pouring for free. I earn the other way, not directly on my steemit post, it's just a bunos. As of the writing, I already have thousand dollar worth of coins combine. I claim, sumokoin for free, jsecoin, flashcoin from airdrop, vergre, some monero, bitshare, some EOS token, some few steem, sbd and a lot more. I got them from mining, because I learn about it here on steemit. My advice to newbie like me, don't stop reading and reading. Knowledge is much much more rewarding than steem and sbd. Its priceless and no one can get it from you. Remember a word, learning is a continues process.

I did join initially for the money too!

Great explanation. I like how you describe how two different types of person can benefit from this Platform. I agree with you. I also implement one of your suggestions and bought some amount of STeempower to become a dolphin if I am right. This disparity of game theory players, and genuine creative input, could kill steemit. - the concept which was sold on creative input being the central theme to making some money.
Sooner or later another platform will take the creative people away.(where it is weighted differently)

You not alone in this but I think it's difficult to confirm such as most of those making the money has worked hard over time and gained so so many followers who usually like their dancing can of coke😂 moreso in steemit a lot of minnow support options are available to buy upvotes to make ur post visible on hot say for #20 which many like me use...who knows...those folks might be using upvote bots too...😋

Very well put and insightful Charles. Thank you. I got on Steemit initially because I invested in Steem on the exchange at the urging of people I trust. I then decided I wanted to be a part of what I was investing in. When I saw what some people were making, I wanted in. Then it all changed after my third post. I had a vision. That vision was #vetsconnect. Now I post under a tag that isn't even a recognized category , yet. I have a group of great followers already. They see what I am trying to do and want to either be a part of it or help it grow. It is truly an amazing thing. It is the community you talk about.
I am dedicated to #vetsconnect because I sincerely believe it will help people. Even if it only brings one veteran that is suffering in silence out in to the light and gives them the courage to push through and recover. To me that is worth more than all the money I could ever have. Someone did it for me and I could never understand why until now. It was literally in the middle of writing a Steemiit post that I believe I realized why I was saved and was given this mission in life. My point is yours. I do enjoy your posts and couldn't agree more. What I see often is people joining, posting a few posts then declaring that steemit is broken and its all a fix because they are not earning hundreds of dollars. You do have to walk before you can run!

You have to be 007 to make money like Milord the same week of joining isnt it? some people even throw in 5 to 8 posts daily in order to be rich in one week...quality and not quantity is the key including time....

it's true u will never have 0.001 cent on facebook and people are not so interested by serious subject ... if you put something funny on facebook everyone will come and comment .. if you put a subject really informativ or serious .. just one or two reaction... here on @steemit I feel people more connected and more awake (not everybody ... for sure) but it's really pleasant to be able to share with people who have the same vision of life than you!
