I believe 2018 will be a great year for Crypto and especially for Steem. I am going all in. All in into Crypto and all in into the Steemit platform.
I have been sharing my thoughts on Tech and Trading for a few years now on my personal blog at www.davetromp.net. First and foremost I write because I like to share my views and knowledge and because I like to help others. And secondly, it is nice to make a little side income that also compensates for the time and effort I put into making the content I provide. If you want to know more about me and my path, you can read my about page here: http://www.davetromp.net/p/about-dave.html
So Steemit will be a great addition to my blog. In 2018 I will be re-posting content (old and new) from my blog on Steemit as well as writing content uniquely on steemit, so steemers can comment and upvote them and read them without seeing the adds that are on my blog for obvious reasons. I think and hope that the interaction on steemit will be much more then on my blog. On my blog I mostly have contact with my readers via email as they write me with questions or suggestions. I like this interaction. On my youtube channel I also post videos on Tech and Trading and I receive more comments on those videos then that I get on my blogposts. Also really nice. My hope is that as my steem-post will get more comments, the interaction will start happening and that from there I will be triggered to make more content people are asking for. And to be honest, seeing some revenues coming in on posts will definitely motivate me to write and stop procrastinating.
To give you just an idea of what I will post about, I will give you a short list of keywords that reflect my area of expertise:
- ubuntu / linux
- python
- software development
- data science
- trading
- crypto currencies
Besides these subjects I might occasionally post or re-steem other stuff that interest me like:
- Turkish food and culture (as my wife is Turkish)
- Aikido (I have been practicing it for more than 25 years now)
- and maybe some music.
But don't worry, I will mostly keep it at Tech and Trading / Investing. So if you are into this, please follow me.
For questions / suggestions you can always contact me via the contact page on my blog.
