Hey Hive Community,
I used to have a Hive Account before but sadly lost access, hence I created this new one today. Luckily that account never had anything posted on it nor did I use Hive Blog actively. Now I plan on learning more about the Community and become active here, starting with this introduction of myself.
So now to the part where I actually introduce myself!
You can all call me "devos". That is the identity under which I go by pretty much anywhere I am active.
I'm an active member of the Crypto Project Jumpcoin that also is the project that got me into crypto not that long ago actually. In short it has been founded by German Crypto YouTuber JumperBilliJumper in 2017 and is meant as an easy entry point for newbies to the scene and everything is decided by the Community behind it.
I really enjoy programming, having tought myself Python in the past and having created a few fun projects with it since, including some things for the Jumpcoin Community that are in the works right now.
After having joined the Jumpcoin Community, I realised a shortage of informational material around the project. Everything was in German, hidden in obscurely named Videos on YouTube and only one single Channel - JumperBilliJumper's. So I started writing and translating things into English, which so far seems to be a fairly fun activity to me.
Now I am looking forward to learning more about the Hive Community and how everything works here. If you have any tips for me or Tutorials on how Hive works let me know in the Replies :D
What was your previous account?
For as much as I know it should have been @devos
Congratulations and welcome to Hive @dev05!
You mentioned you have a hive account before, please share your previous username for transparency purposes.
Programming & Dev would be a great space to connect with developers in this space. You can also check out our different Communities and see what interests you.
To help you on your journey here, you can read How To Get A Great Start on the Hive Blockchain or check out some resources in newbies-guide. Also, engaging with the community makes it much easier to build your network and gain support. And lastly, Plagiarism and any form of abuse is considered a serious offense. Navigating here on Hive can be somewhat tricky so make sure to check out the things mentioned above.
This is @indayclara from the @ocd team and we wish you all the best!
Thanks for welcoming me like this with loads of information on how to get a foot into the community!
I cannot say for sure but my old account should be @devos. The time that account joined Hive matches what I would consider a logical time I would have signed up to Hive. I searched for the keys for quite a long period of time actually but couldn't find them but as I said, it's not that big of a problem.
I read the How To Get A Great Start on the Hive Blockchain, as well as the 3 things Newbies should do in their first week on Hive post, linked there so far and I will read more bit by bit in the following days.
So far I have 2 questions, not answered in any of the posts I read:
Thanks for the introduction so far!
