Introducing - DIY Home Auto - blog vlog projects etc

in #introduction7 years ago (edited)

I've been a "youtuber" for almost 2 years. I'm excited for this new platform which appears to offer things that the other tube doesn't (or is basically unwilling to) provide.

First, let me tell you more about me. I'm an IT guy by trade but that isn't where my passion is. I've made a good living nerding it up for dollars working for other people. I've struggled with the job satisfaction side of things. Looking back at a weeks work and not being able to see anything tangible! Very seldom does an IT guy get to do something like this:

I worked my way through school remodeling homes and gained some amazing skills with tools etc. I had more job satisfaction doing that than I've ever had running cables, installing updates and rebooting endless times to resolve issues.

I grew up working on my Grandpa's ranch every summer. Driving trucks at age 8 and tractors at age 12. I learned the value of hard work and getting a job done well (and right) the first time. Fixing things on a ranch is often the only solution. There is no hardware store to run to most of the time.

I also enjoy helping others. If I can inspire someone to learn a new skill, fix their car themselves and save money in the process then my task is complete!

I am looking forward to building a following and making new friends here on Steemit and DTube. Please like and follow me as I begin this journey. Do awesome things and stay safe friends!

Hello! I noticed that you joined recently so this is me supporting you. You get an upvote and keep on doing you!
As a newcomer to steemit, it's not easy getting those big upvotes so my advice would be to give @MinnowPowerUp a go as you can earn up to 30% more steem power than just powering up! It's a subscription based daily upvote bot that draws its power from a delegation pool. I compiled this post to explain the system in more depth and share my own experience in earning wupvotes for over $1 a day.
