This one is going be a bit more of a long term project of mine that I’ve been slowly getting around to. Since it will be a bit different and require its own space I have set up this account. This may, in fact, be the only post ever made on this account depending on how things work out.
It has always been my goal to expand beyond just reviewing games. This will require quite a large amount of time in learning new skills sets as I’m by no means a developer and my own coding skills are almost nonexistent.
I’ve been involved in game development a couple of times in my life as a none programmer. Everything from testing, balancing, management, and whatever random hat I wore that day. The biggest issue was always I am not a coder and every time the main coder would go MIA or there would be other issues that I simply never had the skill set to carry out myself. Projects would end up stuck and killed off by those who owned the rights to everything and so one of many futures I wanted to create for myself.
As the world changes so to must you adaptable or is left behind. Programming was always a skill I wanted to start learning after I had built up a career path when I finished college a few years back. I never got hired in my chosen profession and I never went back to pick up a few different programming certifications I wanted since I lacked the disposable income. It’s 2019 and for a while now you can learn whatever you want yourself as long as you have the dedication to do so and find the resources.
One of my new year’s resolutions is to start learning some of the more foundations and apply them towards future projects.
There are quite a few concepts and future projects I have in mind. I enjoy learning by doing and doing so by applying them to real-world applications. This just makes sense in my eyes. Otherwise, you just seem to not be using time very efficiently.
This will mostly be whatever random hour or two a week I have to apply towards this new project. As such it’s going be a while before I even roll anything out if ever.
I’ve talked about wanting to do more a couple of times in some smaller discords that I hang out in.. While blockchain itself has large access to a lot of talent and amazing people. Perhaps in the future, if I wish to devote more time and resources to this project I’ll be reaching and utilizing the amazing talent that is here. People are just not that interested and rather sit on the sidelines till things are on the up and up and you can pay them today.
In the meantime, I’m keeping this quite local to my own area and some people in it. I’ve been burned and overcharged for barely working crap a few times in my life every time I hired out a programmer or the project I was in needed more talent then they had. Thankfully none of us are programmers just gamers!
There some stuff I don’t like going on in the blockchain gaming world. People seem to be fooling themselves that they are having a good time when really they are just chasing after a few cents an hour hoping for more. Games are supposed to be fun which seems to escape people in this genre of gaming.
In the meantime my main focus is still going be created game reviews on @enjar and growing that out. I have quite a lot of late nights and eyes so red from reading screens you would think they were bleeding. Along with all other normal stuff that is life.
I rambled on enough.
Accomplished In March
- Account created

- March meeting concluded
- A basic road map has been created internally that won’t be made public at this time regarding some very basic stuff.
- Some basic ground rules and agreements put in place. Boning administration nonsense!
- Several game engines looked into.
- Some learning and other basic research.
- Basic assignments to work on for April handed out.
Following with interest.
Inappropriate remark incoming - this endeavour makes you more attractive to your preferred gender?
Hahah I guess I wrote this one up a little to fast. To cheap to delegate to it at this time to have enough RC to fix it.
I guess we can just call that an accounting joke.
CEO checking in for month of March. Other associates not on this platform at this time.

Month of April:
Not much to report for the previous month. Very busy elsewhere and as common with side projects they take the back seat. More focus has been spent on Python for this month.
Month of May
--Considering making a basic game for the up and coming Game Jam
-- Will be checking out a couple of different platforms such as itch.io.
